John Steinbeck’s tragic masterpiece
Of Mice and Men comes to life on stage in this full-length production by Barter Theatre which focuses on the friendship between two migrant workers, George and Lennie. The men travel together in hope of finding the American dream. But their friendship becomes increasingly strained as George tries to protect Lennie, a simple-minded man who doesn’t know his own strength. Students will witness the power of this poignant piece of literature which looks at life, death and the journey in between.
