Shidara |
| |
From deep within Japan’s forest mountains comes Shidara, one of the world’s most exciting taiko companies. Blending masterful stick work, blinding energy and break neck speed, the company’s powerful, joyous performances are rooted in the 700-year old harvest festival of their home village. Students will have the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture through this powerful presentation using music and ceremony to tell their stories.
