Stolen Moments: The First 100 Years of Jazz
|
| |
Just in time for Jazz Appreciation Month, Stolen Moments takes students inside the funky, cool world of jazz and its roots. The show highlights the interplay between the jazz movement and the evolution of American culture throughout the 20th Century, as well as the ways jazz has acted as a unifying force, bridging cultural, ethnic and economic differences; and how jazz has influenced other genres of music, both in the U.S. and abroad.
