Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute
Link Up: The Orchestra Sings
The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center and Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra are proud to present Link Up: The Orchestra Sings in connection with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. Students in grades 3-5 will have the opportunity to join the Fox Valley Symphony Youth Orchestra along with members of the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra in this highly participatory program, in which they learn to sing and play recorders in the classroom to perform with the orchestra from their seats. Through the Link Up repertoire and hands-on activities, students analyze and interpret the essential musical structures of melody and what makes the orchestra sing! Repertoire includes works by Beethoven, Copland, Dvorak and more!
