The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is proud to announce the release of its 2014-15 Report to the Community.
“This year’s report to the community focuses on how the Center’s programs and partnerships build community, share experiences and of course, change lives.” said Maria Van Laanen, president. “The 2014-15 Season had some special moments that demonstrated the powerful impact of the performing arts through exceptional live experiences.”
From Broadway shows to business meetings during the 2014-15 Season 350 events drew 197,000 people to the Fox Cities P.A.C., more than 20,000 of those for the first time.
In the 2014-15 Season the Center was…
BUILDING COMMUNITY. The Fox Cities P.A.C. was voted fifth in Venues Today magazine for “Top Stops in the Nation” for theaters of its size. This reflects the Center as an attractive stop for touring artists and in the 2014-15 Season the Center welcomed commercial acts such as Steely Dan, Switchfoot and Straight No Chaser in addition to big Broadway, including the Wisconsin premiere performance of The Book of Mormon.
SHARING EXPERIENCES. Each year the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center partners with several area organizations to have a broader impact on the community. From spreading the power of the arts to providing a gathering place for powerful messages, the Fox Cities P.A.C. prides itself on being a key hub for the community.
CHANGING LIVES. Through initiatives such as the Frank C. Shattuck Performing Arts Touch The Hearts of Students (P.A.T.H.S.) program and The Broadway League’s Family First Nights®, the Center continued to connect students to the arts.
