My Heart In A Suitcase

It’s World War II and for Anne Lehmann, her family and all the Jews in Germany, life is deteriorating quickly. In order to protect their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lehmann may have to say goodbye to her forever. Now Anne must struggle to bring meaning out of despair, to cling to love and hope in a world that seems to be filled with hatred and violence. The play, based on a real-life story, explores the importance of combating intolerance and respecting fellow human beings.
