Blue Zones Cooking Demonstration
March 26, 2026
6:00pm
Flex Box at the Appleton Public Library
On April 28, photographer David McLain will present The Blue Zones: Unlocking the Secrets of Longevity as part of the Viewpoint Speaker Series at your Fox Cities P.A.C. The “Blue Zones” are regions around the world where people consistently live longer, healthier lives than average – but what role does food play in their remarkable longevity?
Find out on March 26, when Heirloom Kitchen Chef Tracy Darling brings Blue Zone inspiration to our own “green zone” of the Fox Valley. Using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Chef Tracy will create and share dishes that reflect Blue Zone eating principles while celebrating the rich culinary traditions of our region, with influences from other regions.
This opportunity is free and open to the public in collaboration with Heirloom Kitchen Co. and the Appleton Public Library and with community support from Community First Credit Union.
