Join us in the Kimberly-Clark Theater for a preshow discussion led by Tania Tandias. Tania will share about the various influences of the Flamenco art form, what certain movements might be popular or what they mean, and explain different props that may be used in Flamenco dance, like castanets and fans.
While not affiliated with Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, Tania Tandias directs her own performance company Tania Tandias Flamenco & Spanish Dance in Madison, which has become a favorite at the Overture Center’s annual International Festival.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the discussion will start at 6:45 p.m. Space is available on a first come first served basis. This opportunity is free to ticket holders of Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana in collaboration with Tania Tandias and with community support from Community First Credit Union.
