Join Joshua Kane, from Edgar Allan Poe’s Tales of Terror, for A Bump in The Night – A Poetry of the Fantastic and Supernatural at the Hearthstone Historic House Museum from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.! Get ready for a Midsummer Night’s Scream as the Demons of Darkness creep off the bookshelf. Kane hosts a legion of fairies, changelings, and creatures of the night (immortalized by Yeats, Shakespeare, Rossetti, et.al.)
Registration is required to participate in this event. Capacity is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot! Hearthstone Historic House Museum will be dressed in full Victorian mourning. Doors will open at 1 p.m. and participants have been invited to explore the Memento Mori exhibit on the lower level. This event is free thanks to the collaboration with Hearthstone Historic House Museum and community support from Community First Credit Union.
Masks are welcomed, but not required to be worn by all patrons while in the venue. Other COVID-19 related health protocols may be in effect at the time of performance, including, without limitation, required: temperature checks, testing, confirmation of prior travel to restricted areas and/or confirmation of no known symptoms of and exposure to COVID-19. We reserve the right to unilaterally make changes to health protocols according to updated public health guidance and applicable law.
