Come discover Kathak, the rhythmic and lyrical North Indian storytelling dance form, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on April 11 in the Kimberly-Clark Theater at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Join master Kathak artist Rita Mustaphi from Katha Dance Theatre for this fun and accessible workshop for dancers of all ages and skill levels. You’ll explore Kathak’s signature rhythmic footwork, quick pirouettes, lyrical hand gestures and facial expressions in an approachable way.
Registration is open until Monday, April 7 or until spots are filled. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.
