Winston Churchill Preshow Display with the National Railroad Museum
On your way into Randy Otto is Winston Churchill: The Blitz, stop by the Main Lobby where the National Railroad Museum invites you to learn more about the Pullman train cars, the “Lydia” and the “Isle of Thanet,” Winston Churchill’s wartime train cars. Explore pre-war photographs, post-restoration images, and original news articles that trace the trains’ remarkable story — from the height of their service to their careful preservation. Discover what life was like aboard these luxurious mobile offices and homes, where history and leadership shared the rails.
