Stepping Workshop

October 2, 2023 6:00pm

Learn to step with Step Afrika! Designed for all ages and skill levels, the Step Afrika! Community Workshop introduces participants to the art form of stepping. Stepping is a dance form created by African American fraternities and sororities in the early 1900s. Wear comfortable shoes (tennis shoes are best!) and come prepared to use the body as an instrument.

This workshop will take place in the Kimberly-Clark Theater at the Fox Cities P.A.C. and is open to the public to participate and learn about the rhythm and history of stepping. This event is free with community support from Community First Credit Union.

Space is limited, pre-registration is required.
