The Truth Evolution workshop is a conversation experience, ideal for individuals and for groups. With magic markers, personal story and imagination, Dasha Kelly Hamilton guides participants through creative discovery and facilitates a dialogue around race, class, and equity in the Kimberly-Clark Theater. The Truth Evolution is a model for community vitality, organizational bias training and personal anti-racism work. It is not required to attend Dasha Kelly Hamilton in Makin’ Cake before this workshop, but it is recommended. This workshop is in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Appleton-Fox Cities and is made possible by the generous support of the Community First Credit Union.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., the workshop begins at 6:30 p.m.
Masks are welcomed, but not required to be worn by all patrons while in the venue. Other COVID-19 related health protocols may be in effect at the time of performance, including, without limitation, required: temperature checks, testing, confirmation of prior travel to restricted areas and/or confirmation of no known symptoms of and exposure to COVID-19. We reserve the right to unilaterally make changes to health protocols according to updated public health guidance and applicable law. Future updates will be provided to ticket holders prior to the performance. Any ticket holder who does not comply with any COVID-19 related health protocol may be required to leave the theater, and his/her ticket will not be refunded. Tickets obtained from unauthorized parties may be invalid or counterfeit and if so are void. The Center’s standard photo policy prohibits the use of cameras or recording devices in the theater. Photo policies may vary at request of the artist. Performances go on as scheduled, regardless of weather. No refunds. In the unlikely event that the Center cancels a performance, ticketholders will be notified. Dates, times, prices, fees, artists subject to change.
