How Does LiveVoice Audio Description Improve the Experience for Low-Vision Patrons at your Fox Cities P.A.C.?

August 11, 2026

At your Fox Cities P.A.C., we strive to make each performance welcoming and enjoyable for all audiences; to that end, the Center offers live audio description through the LiveVoice app to enhance each visit for patrons with low vision. To help better understand the service, here is everything you need to know before your next visit to the Center.

What is audio description?

Audio description is live, spoken narration that describes key visual elements of a performance. It provides important visual context in real time, including onstage action, settings, costumes, facial expressions and scene changes, without overlapping with the show’s main dialogue or music.

How do I access audio description during a performance?

Audio description is provided through the free LiveVoice app on your personal smartphone or mobile device.

To connect:

  1. Download the LiveVoice app to your device before or when you arrive.
  2. Enable location services on your phone.
  3. When you enter your Fox Cities P.A.C., the performance will automatically appear on your app’s welcome screen.
  4. Simply tap the event to join the stream!

Note: Headphones or earbuds are required to listen to the audio description stream.

Which performances offer live audio description?

  • Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America – Fox Cities Series: Live audio description is available for Wednesday evening performances of all 2026-27 Broadway shows.
  • Upon Request: Audio description can also be requested for other performances! Requests must be submitted at least three weeks prior to the performance date and are subject to description provider availability.
