Meet Your Student Ambassadors: All About Izzie! (by Matthew)

January 14, 2025

The following article was written by Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program Student Ambassador Izzie, in collaboration with the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.

Izzie is a senior at Little Chute High School, a journalist, and a fan of theater. What drove her to become a Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program Student Ambassador, and how does she manage her time? Even though Izzie loves to explore other avenues of creativity in her free time, theater remains an aspiration in her life.

Additional extracurricular activities allow Izzie to engage in her community, including Student Council, Earth Club, and Sources of Strength. These community-driven activities allow her to venture into her future. Next year, she plans to attend Ripon College to pursue a degree in education with a minor in music, allowing her to continue her art of performing in college.

Her love for theater sparked in media such as Glee and MAMMA MIA!, and she was elated the first time she saw MAMMA MIA! live at The Fox Cities P.A.C., furthering her future passion. To date, she has been in eight productions, with some notable roles such as The Evil Stepmother in Cinderella, Mary Sunshine in Chicago, and Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors.

Izzie’s love for theater has and will continue well into the future, and the Center Stage Ambassador Program is another expression of herself.

“I wanted to be more involved in the theater community,” Izzie stated, and through the Center Stage Program, she has been able to uncover her hidden passion for journalism.

“[Center Stage is] a place where people get to meet others like them... I got to meet so many new and interesting people.”
Izzie, 2024-25 Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program Student Ambassador
