Meet Your Student Ambassadors: Liliana (by Izzie)

December 30, 2024

The following article was written by Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program Student Ambassador Izzie, in collaboration with the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.

Liliana is a Senior at Ashwaubenon High School. Her love of theater started when her grandma signed her up for a children’s theater camp. When she was 8 years of age, Liliana was performing in Pinocchio as Jiminy Cricket.

"After that, my grandma started to take me to musicals at the Fox Cities P.A.C. which helped solidify my interest in theater."

Outside of school, Liliana has been in four different shows. Three of them were when she was younger: Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty (in which she played Maleficent), and Blackbeard (as the lieutenant). The fourth was a two-week theater camp in Missoula, Montana, where she played Dolores in the Raise Your Voice section of a medley production. Within school, Liliana has performed in Into the Woods (as Sleeping Beauty), Guys and Dolls (as a Hot Box dancer), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (as a wife), and 2024’s The Drowsy Chaperone (her first high school supporting role, Trix the Aviatrix).

Liliana is not only involved in musicals, but also in sports! She played on Ashwaubenon’s Girls Tennis team as the team Captain, and continues to to play out of season as well. While her high school musical may be done for this year, Liliana isn’t! She is involved with a group of students who help out on their middle school musical.

Liliana applied for the Center Stage Student Ambassador position to jumpstart her career as an Event Manager for musical theater.

“I have always loved the Center Stage Program and wanted to help out with giving kids like me a chance to have the same opportunities and experiences that I did.”
