Meet the Boswells

Bob and Mary Boswell became Season Ticket Holders shortly after the Center’s first performance in 2002 and have been invested in the Center’s mission as Annual Partners ever since.
“We saw the benefits of being an Annual Partner. There’s a benefit that you are giving to others, like the kids who come to see those special performances. It helps to fund that,” Bob said.
For the Boswells, giving students the opportunity to learn and grow through the arts remains an important reason for their continued support.
“Supporting the arts keeps the next generation coming and gets them involved. They might decide that they would like to try that,” Mary added.
In addition to the benefits their generosity provides to students and others participating in our mission-based programs, the Boswells have also enjoyed the benefits they receive as Annual Partners.
The Boswells have enjoyed the food and performances at Annual Partner signature events such as the Annual Partner Cookout along with their ability to connect with other Annual Partners and even old friends.
“We came last year and I saw someone there I remembered from Kimberly-Clark but hadn’t seen in 15 years. So we sat at the table together and conversed over what’s been going on,” Bob explained. “It’s the other people that are there as well as who you get to know and get to meet. It makes it even more enjoyable.”
The pair have also gone on a few backstage tours for Annual Partners, citing that they never know what they may have missed or what may have changed since the last time.
As Directing Partners, they also enjoy sharing benefits with their friends and family in the Partners Lounge.
“With the Partners Lounge, we’ve brought guests from time to time and of course our actual family,” Bob explained. “It’s the opportunity to be able to do that for people, bring them to the Partners Lounge and give them the extra experience.”
“And they might decide to come again,” Mary added with a smile.
