Introducing Lisa Shovan

We are pleased to announce Lisa Shovan has joined the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center team as its chief finance officer.

Lisa joins the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center from her most recent position of vice president for administration and finance at SUNY Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh, New York. Lisa brings more than 20 years of work experience in accounting and administration for nonprofits.

At the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, Lisa will oversee accounting while also providing direction and oversight to the information technologies department.

Originally from Keene, New York, Lisa received her bachelor's degree in accounting from SUNY Plattsburgh. Lisa and her husband enjoy spending time with family, including a daughter and son-in-law who reside in De Pere with their two grandchildren and a son who lives in Utah. In her free time she enjoys road-trips to explore new places and spending time with her family.

Lisa said that while she has never worked in the performing arts field, her extensive experience in nonprofit finances makes her a great fit. She is excited to learn more about how all of the pieces fit together to create exceptional live performing arts experiences in our community.

“Working for a mission-driven organization is very important to me,” Lisa explained. “The Fox Cities P.A.C. seems like a vibrant, happy place that brings joy to the community and I look forward to working to support it. In our world today, we need a place (like the Fox Cities P.A.C.) to experience something fun and colorful.”
Lisa looks forward to sharing the arts with her grandchildren. She also loves the movie Mamma Mia! but has never seen it performed live.

“I love the movie, and I would love to see it if it comes back,” she said.

Next time you see Lisa around the Center, be sure to say hello!
