2. Thanksgiving welcomes Broadway reunions
From the Macy’s Parade to the CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade Broadcast and the Disney’s Holiday Singalongevent, the holiday weekend sure made us miss everything about Broadway! Casts from Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away, Frozen, Mean Girls, Ain’t Too Proud, Hamilton, and Jagged Little Pill reunited for performances that made us long for getting back to the theater in 2021.
3. Announcements to SAVE THE DATE this December
The holidays bring Broadway magic! Major projects in the works were announced and updated this month, leading to a busy December ahead! On December 4, Netflix’s The Prom releases their cast album prior to their December 11 debut. On December 9 you can catch Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Musical on NBC starring stage and screen actor Matthew Morrison! And on December 10, Tina Fey hosts One Night Only: The Best of Broadwayalso on NBC.
4. Tick Tick Boom Update
The Jonathan Larson (RENT) musical Tick, Tick…BOOM! has finished the filming process led by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The film is full of Broadway favs and while no release date has been set, we’re waiting (im)patiently.
