This music prodigy is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been singing since she was four and writing music since she was five. By age eight, she had learned to play guitar, mandolin and ukulele. She credits her talent to her family who are also musicians and her band. Mom helps write songs, dad plays bass, brother plays the mandolin, uncle plays the drums and they all tour together. So in addition to seeing EmiSunshine onstage, you’ll also be seeing her family perform as well.
In addition to her TV appearances, Rolling Stone has named EmiSunshine among “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know.” She wrote and performed two original songs for the Grammy-nominated motion picture “The King” and has released four albums.
Surrounded by music for as long as she can remember, EmiSunshine listened to all types of music that influence her own tunes today. When it comes to “what kind” of artist she is, this 15-year-old teen prodigy considers herself to be a mix of genres. From Americana to gospel, bluegrass to country and blues to jazz, she brings her “old-timey,” unique voice, music and talents to her national tour.
With millions of views on YouTube, over 1,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a nation of adoring fans of all ages, EmiSunshine is sure to bring the house down at the Fox Cities P.A.C. on November 3.
