Broadway Fast 5: October

1. Broadway Reopening Delays and new show dates
Sadly, Broadway in New York City has announced the cancellation of shows through May 30, 2021. That moves the MJ The Musical to an expected September 2021 debut, and The Music Man to start previews in December with an official opening of February 2022.
2. #BroadwayWillBeBack and it will be #WorthTheWait
Broadway shows joined together this month to remind audiences that #BroadwayWillBeBack and it will be #WorthTheWait. Check out these clips to build your excitement for the return of some of your favorite shows!
3. Olivier Awards and Tony nominations are here!
The Tony Award nominations have been announced! Jagged Little Pill, Moulin Rouge! and Slave Play came away with the most nominations. While the ceremony date is still to be announced, we cannot be more excited to celebrate Broadway! Can’t wait? Check out London’s Olivier Award winners which were also announced in October.

4. Movies, TV and streaming news
