The Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program enters its fifth season in a reimagined format that continues to celebrate the achievement of high schools in crafting and presenting musical theater.
With a little creativity, schools throughout Northeast Wisconsin are finding ways to have students connect through theater in both traditional and nontraditional formats. Watch for additional information about how each school plans to share their students’ talents and how you can support the arts in your local community throughout the school year.
This year, the Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program will be presented virtually!
The program will continue to offer workshops with local professionals and Broadway artists, networking across schools throughout the region for students and educators and advocate for the importance of arts education in schools. The Center Stage Program will culminate at the end of the season with a showcase that will be a celebration of high school theater in our area, including two students being nominated to be the Center's representatives at the virtual National High School Musical Theatre Awards. Two scholarships will be awarded to seniors pursuing the arts in higher education.
