Learn more about the infamous Poe at the Neenah Public Library before Joshua Kane performs Edgar Allan Poe’s Tales of Terror on October 24.

This event will be perfect for anyone who wants to know more about Poe or those who just enjoy a thrilling tale. Who was Edgar Allan Poe? Why do his fictions still thrill us? How does horror creep into readers? Join UW-Madison English Professor Monique Allewaert, an expert in American literature to learn more.

To indulge in a shiver of horror before the event, read “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Fall of the House of Usher” before the lecture.
