IRA Distributions

If you have an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) and have a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), you may make gifts to non-profit organizations directly from your IRA that count toward your RMD and are not taxed. This is called a Qualified Charitable Distribution.

Generally, you do this by contacting the administrator of your IRA and asking them to make distributions to the charities you love. The distribution usually must come directly from the administrator. Otherwise, the funds will be taxed. If you have a “charitable checking account” with your IRA, slightly different rules may apply, and you should contact your administrator or financial advisor.

As with all important financial decisions, you should consult your financial advisor. The Fox Cities P.A.C. does not provide financial or tax advice, but a rapidly-growing number of donors are choosing this means of giving because of the considerable tax benefits.

Since the majority for Qualified Charitable Donations are not taxed, we are unable to provide benefits with a taxable value to donors. With this, we will automatically waive benefits and allow you to use our Opt-In Amenities Program.


What does the Annual Partner Campaign support?

Each year, donor contributions make up nearly half of your Fox Cities P.A.C.’s operating revenue. These contributions play an important role, impacting our community through cultural performances in the Boldt Arts Alive! Series and Spotlight Series, engagement activities in the Community First Community Engagement Series, educational programs including the Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program and the Amcor Education Series. Each season, thousands of students across the grades attend education performances with their classmates and friends at reduced ticket prices. By the end of the 2023-24 Season, more than 18,000 students of all ages and backgrounds will have watched classroom lessons come to life on stage through the Amcor Education Series.

These programs and initiatives live the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center’s mission to be a multicultural gathering place for all, providing entertaining and educational arts opportunities that enhance our understanding and enjoyment of life. Every donation has the potential to change a life through the live performing arts.

Does the Fox Cities P.A.C. have an endowment?

Yes! An endowment is essential to supporting the Center’s long-term sustainability to ensure our facility and programs can continue to provide extraordinary experiences in the arts for future generations. Our endowment is called the Keystone Fund and you can make a donation by contacting our development team at [email protected] or (920) 730-3782.

The Keystone Fund provides the funding required to sustain and support the Center’s mission now and for future generations. The goals of The Keystone Fund are to accomplish the following key objectives: 

  • Ensure the Center’s excellence in world-class arts and culture programming
  • Sustain and support the Center’s education activities
  • Ensure access as a gathering place and sustain community engagement programs
  • Protect and maintain the Center in showcase quality condition and keep technology current
  • Provide and ensure organizational stability and sustainability

Can I make a donation through monthly or annual installments?

Yes! Gifts can be paid in monthly or quarterly installments via check or automatic credit card charges. You can also make a multi-year pledge to support the Annual Partner Campaign or the Keystone Fund, to be paid in annual installments. Can I give in memory of a loved one?

Yes! You can make a donation In Memory or In Honor of someone. Your gift will be attributed to the Keystone Fund and will be recognized in the Center’s Community Impact Report for the season you made the gift.
