Students will dive deep into reading a real Civil War diary to see what they can learn that they couldn’t find in a textbook. They also will learn how to conduct an oral history interview to gather stories from their family members. $10 per student.

Harry Houdini long used scientific principles to mystify audiences. Students will learn some magic tricks and the science behind them while immersing themselves in the History Museum’s AKA Houdini exhibit. $10 per student.

Fossil CSI: Learn how paleontologists use close-up observations and digital scan data to uncover fossil secrets.
