Make a Day of It

Ahoy mateys! Sail on over to Appleton Public Library after the show! We’ll provide an area for you to eat your grub (lunch). Then we’ll gather for pirate stories, songs, and station tables of activities. It’s sure to be a jolly good time! $5 per student.

Don’t let the Pigeon read the books – leave that to the librarians! Join us for an interactive, Pigeon-themed storytime followed by crafts and activities. $5 per student.

Calling all scientists! We invite you and your bus to take a ride on over to Appleton Public Library after the show. We’ll provide an area for you to enjoy your lunch. When you’re finished, Ms. Sonja Frizzle will lead your group in some stories, songs, and hands-on science activities. We’ll have a blast together! $5 per student.

Students will engage in activities about weather and simple machines to related to the key themes of the performance. $13 per student.

Students will hear stories and create art projects related to the key themes of the performance. $13 per student.

Students will complete artifact and photograph analyses with an emphasis on bias in the creation of historical sources. $10 per student.

Students will engage in a discussion about one of Churchill’s speeches and complete a critical thinking activity comparing Churchill’s leadership qualities to local historical figures. $10 per student.
