Get ready to celebrate the summer solstice with the universal language of music. On Sunday, June 21, Appleton joins over 1,000 cities worldwide for the annual Make Music Day, a global festival dedicated to the joy of performance and community.

Join us from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the lawn in front of the History Museum at the Castle for an afternoon of discovery. We’ll be hosting a variety of interactive programs, including a hands-on Instrument Petting Zoo, Rondini’s Bombastic Bubbles, the ever popular Bucket Drumming and more, perfect for musicians of all ages and skill levels. Watch this page for more information as it becomes available.

Make Music Day Appleton is a collaborative effort brought to life by your Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, Heid Music, Mile of Music, Creative Downtown Appleton, Inc., the History Museum at the Castle, The NAMM Foundation, and the Make Music Alliance.

This is the official page for this event at the Fox Cities P.A.C. Tickets are a revocable license, and admission may be refused upon entry. Tickets obtained from unauthorized parties may be invalid or counterfeit and, if so, are void. The Center’s standard photo policy prohibits the use of cameras or recording devices in the theater. In the unlikely event that the Center cancels a performance, ticketholders will be notified. Dates, times, prices, fees, and artists are subject to change. Ticket holder grants permission to use their image or likeness in connection with any broadcast or recording of the event.
