Rhythms of the World
The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is a proud community partner of Rhythms of the World. Join us in Houdini Plaza in Downtown Appleton between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21. Enjoy free music and dance performances, including the Fox Valley Symphony at 9:00 a.m. Stop by the Fox Cities PAC table to learn about upcoming events and a chance to win prizes.
Rhythms of the World is an annual community event that brings together children and their families from throughout the Fox Cities, to celebrate music and dance from cultures around the world, in a friendly and festive ambiance. Interactive audience participation is the hallmark of this annual family event.
The seventh year of Rhythms of the World will be featuring dances and music from African (sub-Saharan), African American, Caribbean, Chinese, European, Japanese, Indian, Indonesian, Irish, LatinX, Native American, Polynesian, and other cultures.
In conjunction with the Rhythms of the World, the Building for Kids is offering Discover Diversity Free Night for children and families from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the same day!

EVENT SCHEDULE
Masks are welcomed, but not required to be worn by all patrons while in the venue. Other COVID-19 related health protocols may be in effect at the time of performance, including, without limitation, required: temperature checks, testing, confirmation of prior travel to restricted areas and/or confirmation of no known symptoms of and exposure to COVID-19. We reserve the right to unilaterally make changes to health protocols according to updated public health guidance and applicable law. Future updates will be provided to ticket holders prior to the performance. Any ticket holder who does not comply with any COVID-19 related health protocol may be required to leave the theater, and his/her ticket will not be refunded. This is the official page for this event at the Fox Cities P.A.C. Tickets are a revocable license and admission may be refused upon entry. Tickets obtained from unauthorized parties may be invalid or counterfeit and if so are void. The Center’s standard photo policy prohibits the use of cameras or recording devices in the theater. Photo policies may vary at request of the artist. Performances go on as scheduled, regardless of weather. No refunds. In the unlikely event that the Center cancels a performance, ticketholders will be notified. Dates, times, prices, fees, artists subject to change. Ticket holder grants permission to use holder’s image or likeness in connection with any broadcast or recording of event.
