Touch Tour for Blind and Low Vision Patrons

A touch tour is an immersive experience for blind and low vision community members providing an up-close interaction. Through tactile exploration, attendees will engage with props and costumes from Moulin Rouge: The Musical! Company members will provide context about the show and allow attendees to familiarize themselves with the spectacular set, costumes and props. Space is limited!

NEW! Patrons can also utilize Audio Description for Moulin Rouge: The Musical at performances June 18-23. Audio description is a form of narration that enables audience members who are blind or low vision to hear descriptions of actions, costumes, scenery and other aspects of the production not usually conveyed by voices from the stage. Audio description is available through GalaPro, a free accessibility app available on mobile devices. Learn more by contacting the ticket office at (920) 730-3760.

Parking and Directions

  • The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is located at 400 West College Avenue in Appleton, Wisconsin.
  • Valet parking is pay upon arrival and available on the Division Street side of the Center beginning one hour prior to all public tickets performances held in Thrivent Hall and Kimberly-Clark Theater.
  • Ample parking is available in the City of Appleton’s downtown parking structures. More information about parking is available here.

Masks are welcomed, but not required to be worn by all patrons while in the venue. Other COVID-19 related health protocols may be in effect at the time of performance, including, without limitation, required: temperature checks, testing, confirmation of prior travel to restricted areas and/or confirmation of no known symptoms of and exposure to COVID-19. We reserve the right to unilaterally make changes to health protocols according to updated public health guidance and applicable law. Future updates will be provided to ticket holders prior to the performance. Any ticket holder who does not comply with any COVID-19 related health protocol may be required to leave the theater, and his/her ticket will not be refunded. Guests with accessibility questions, or who require additional assistance related to the venue’s COVID-19 policies may email [email protected] or call (920) 730-3760. Please note: This event is being planned at full capacity, subject to applicable law and governmental approval.

Tickets obtained from unauthorized parties may be invalid or counterfeit and if so are void. The Center’s standard photo policy prohibits the use of cameras or recording devices in the theater. Photo policies may vary at request of the artist. Performances go on as scheduled, regardless of weather. No refunds. In the unlikely event that the Center cancels a performance, ticketholders will be notified. Dates, times, prices, fees, artists subject to change. Ticket holder grants permission to use holder’s image or likeness in connection with any broadcast or recording of event.
