Delight young readers and theatergoers with enchanting puppetry! Students will marvel as stories by Margaret Wise Brown come alive onstage. Your class will be reassured with a sense of security through endearing rabbit characters, rhythmic bunny banter and dream-like imagery.

Know Before You Go

Arrival and Departure Information

  • The Center’s address is 400 W. College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911. Click here for driving directions.
  • Upon arrival at the theater, buses should use the parking map/directions that were assigned to them. PAC staff will be available for any assistance if needed. Cars and other vehicles may find parking in the Green ramp for a nominal fee or find available parking in metered spaces along the street.
  • Doors to the theater open 30 minutes prior to the performance. Please arrive no later than 20 minutes before the performance, to ensure ample time to be seated.
  • After parking, unload your students and enter the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center at either the valet doors on Division Street or the ticket office entrance (corner of College Avenue and Division Street).
  • Please have a school representative at the front of the line to check in. A volunteer will greet your group upon your arrival to help check you in.
  • You will be given your seating location at the time of your arrival and volunteers will guide you to your assigned seats. No printed or e-tickets tickets are issued for Amcor Education Series performances.
  • Bus drivers receive discounts at ACOCA Coffee and Copper Rock Coffee when they mention they are with a school group at the Center. Bus drivers are not able to gain admission to the Center unless they are included in the school’s reservation.
  • After the performance, Fox Cities Performing Arts Center personnel will dismiss all groups from the theater. Please remain seated in the theater until dismissed and check around your seats for personal items before leaving. Once dismissed, return in an orderly fashion to your bus or vehicle for a safe trip back to school.

Reservation Policies

ADMISSION AND CHAPERONES
  • Admission is $5.00 per ticket, unless noted otherwise.
  • One complimentary seat is included with every 15 seats reserved. Other necessary chaperones pay the same price as students.
  • Everyone regardless of age must reserve a seat. Include all students, teachers, chaperones, paraprofessionals, etc. (and bus drivers if attending the performance with your group) in your total seat count.
  • Please reserve a reasonable number of chaperones based on the needs of your group. Remember, the purpose of the series is an educational experience for learning students.
  • All seats must be reserved through the school group or registration contact. We cannot add additional parents/chaperones without the permission of the school/homeschool group leader.
  • The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center strongly recommends that all attendees be at least 3 years of age. Your compliance with this policy is greatly appreciated.
  • Parents are not able to purchase seats on their own unless they are a state registered home school.
  • No printed or electronic tickets are issued for education series performances.
  • Seating assignments are given upon arrival. Location is determined by reservation date, special seating needs, grade level and group size.
  • All groups must be accompanied by at least one adult.
  • Unless noted, all performances will be 50-60 minutes and take place in Thrivent Hall at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
ReSERVATIONS
  • Reservations are accepted on a first come-first serve basis.
  • The invoice will only reflect the number of tickets requested; Your seating assignments will be given to you at the check-in table when you arrive for the show.
  • Final seat counts are due 6 weeks prior to the performance to prepare for the final payment date. After that time, you will be responsible for the cost of the reserved seats in your account.
  • Final payments are due a minimum of 4 – 6 weeks prior to the performance. If payment is not received, seats may be released.
  • Reservation modifications must be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to the performance. Any last-minute changes requested after this deadline will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but cannot be guaranteed and are subject to seating availability.
PAYMENT
  • Once full payment is received, all sales are final and there are no refunds or cancellations.
  • Payments must be made prior to the performance – they will not be accepted on the day of the show.
  • Payments must be made with one form of payment (i.e. check made payable to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center or credit card) and received by the reservation’s final payment date which is typically 4-6 weeks prior to the performance.
  • Check payments should be mailed to Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, Attention: Education Sales, 400 West College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911. A $30 fee will be charged on all returned checks.
  • A payment receipt confirmation email will be sent automatically to the account holder. You may also download, print, or email a copy of the paid invoice via your online portal.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
  • Refunds or exchanges will only be honored if an event is canceled by the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center or if your school (or district where you reside) is closed or delayed. We are unable to resell reserved seats, therefore, no refunds are issued for unused seats on the day of the performance, including student illnesses.
PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
  • Education events at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center may be photographed by Center staff for promotional use. Attendees grant permission to use images in promotional materials for use by the Center.

Student Accessibility Needs

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center strives to make the arts available to everyone. We offer many services for patrons with special needs, including wheelchair accessible seating, assisted listening devices and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation.

  • Elevators are located on the east side of the lobby and serve all seating levels. All restrooms are wheelchair-accessible and there is a family restroom located on the Orchestra Level.
  • A Parent Suite is available on the Dress Circle Level.
  • To best serve the needs of you and your students, indicate if you have individuals who require special services or seating needs when making your reservation.
  • Upon request, appropriate performances can be ASL interpreted. This service must be requested a minimum of four weeks prior to the performance.

Student and Educator Health and Safety

  • All bags, including student backpacks, entering the building are subject to search and prohibited items will not be allowed. If students bring backpacks they will need to be checked at the registration table in the main lobby upon entry.
  • Teachers and chaperones are discouraged from bringing bags, however, necessary backpacks, or bags may be searched and tagged before being allowed in the theater.
  • Medically necessary devices, prescriptions and other related items will be allowed but are subject to search.
  • Gum, beverages (including water bottles) and food are not allowed in the theater for Amcor Education Series performances.

Theater Etiquette

To make the experience an enjoyable one for all, please review theater expectations with your students and chaperones before attending an Amcor Education Series performance.

Masks are welcomed, but not required to be worn by all patrons while in the venue. Other COVID-19 related health protocols may be in effect at the time of performance, including, without limitation, required: temperature checks, testing, confirmation of prior travel to restricted areas and/or confirmation of no known symptoms of and exposure to COVID-19. We reserve the right to unilaterally make changes to health protocols according to updated public health guidance and applicable law. Future updates will be provided to ticket holders prior to the performance. Any ticket holder who does not comply with any COVID-19 related health protocol may be required to leave the theater, and his/her ticket will not be refunded. Please note: This event is being planned at full capacity, subject to applicable law and governmental approval.

This is the official page for this event at the Fox Cities P.A.C. Tickets are a revocable license and admission may be refused upon entry. Tickets obtained from unauthorized parties may be invalid or counterfeit and if so are void. The Center’s standard photo policy prohibits the use of cameras or recording devices in the theater. Photo policies may vary at request of the artist. Performances go on as scheduled, regardless of weather. No refunds. In the unlikely event that the Center cancels a performance, ticketholders will be notified. Dates, times, prices, fees, artists subject to change. Ticket holder grants permission to use holder’s image or likeness in connection with any broadcast or recording of event.
